Preview: "Marie Brand and the False Truth" on ZDF

After a wild party for her 18th birthday, Isabell Lauterbach (Anna-Lena Schwing) discovers her ex-boyfriend Ben Thiele (Max Kruk) dead. But she can't remember anything. Is she the perpetrator? In addition to cocaine, traces of Rohypnol, a so-called knockout drug, are found in her blood. Did she lose her memory because of this drug, or is she deliberately hiding something? Marie Brand (Mariele Millowitsch) and Jürgen Simmel (Hinnerk Schönemann) target the party guests, including the members of the sprint relay team in which both Isabell and Ben trained.

The second week begins with a hearty challenge: the candidates have to create a pull-apart bread with a tasty filling. Creativity in the decoration and composition is key. Then comes the technical test, in which the celebrities bake an apple rose tart. Only a perfectly crafted tart can impress the jury. Finally, the candidates devote themselves to spectacular 3D or themed cakes that focus on their favorite celebrations.

After a night of drinking in the tree stand, Koops (Aljoscha Stadelmann) is woken up by a gunshot. He goes in search of his drinking buddy, forester Heiko (Sebastian Weiss), and discovers the biker boss Andy Blome (Nicki von Tempelhoff) in the middle of the forest - a suspicious encounter. Koops has no idea that Blome is responsible for Heiko's death and is pursuing a fugitive gang member (Aurel Manthei). But his gut feeling tells him that he shouldn't let Andy out of his sight.

Every week, Stefan Raab presents a show in which he looks back at current events from streaming, social media and TV. He not only acts as a quizmaster, but also as a duelist. The candidates must answer all questions correctly and assert themselves against him in exciting duels in order to keep their chance of winning one million euros. The show is complemented by changing celebrity game leaders and numerous surprise guests.

Alex (Ina Paule Klink) makes a shocking discovery: an intimate video of her has appeared on the Internet. She asks her godfather Wilsberg (Leonard Lansink) for help to prevent an impending career setback if her boss finds out about it. Wilsberg's investigations lead him to a shady online sex portal. One of the operators lures young women into a trap and secretly films them. The recordings then end up on the Internet. When one of those responsible is murdered, Alex herself becomes a suspect - after all, she would have a motive to take revenge on her tormentor.
